CRE8 INFINITE is a digital platform designed to foster creativity and collaboration among diverse communities. Responding to the challenge prompt, our platform addresses the need for inclusive creative spaces that promote visibility and positive community interactions. Users engage in various creative activities weekly and primarily share their work on Instagram. However, they face challenges such as lack of visibility and negative community interactions. CRE8 INFINITE offers a solution by providing a supportive environment where artists, writers, designers, and other creatives can showcase their work, participate in regular challenges, and engage with a diverse community. By spotlighting less popular creators, implementing community guidelines, and promoting inclusivity, our platform aims to create infinite possibilities for creative expression and social impact.

Main Design Decisions

I implemented community engagement features based on survey insights. Many respondents stated that a major challenge they faced when sharing their art was a lack of visibility. To address this, I created an "Up and Coming Artist" section that features less popular creators. To further boost community engagement, we introduced regular challenges with weekly and monthly prompts.

I aimed to promote inclusivity and diversity by collaborating with museums to tell the narratives of marginalized groups through digital exhibits. Additionally, I included a section showcasing various art scholarships, making art education more accessible to individuals regardless of their socioeconomic status.

Survey respondents also indicated that negative experiences, such as receiving rude comments, discouraged them from sharing their artwork. To combat this, our design includes reminders to be respectful above most comment sections, fostering a more supportive community environment.
